When I was a young lad I
would often go with my father, Terence, to breakdowns and
recoveries. So from an early age I knew all about throttle
cables, punctures and flat batteries. It became obvious to
all that I would follow in my father’s footsteps.
When I left school my father told me I had to go out into
the world and make my own way. Needless to say I went into
the motor trade and became a Ford apprentice at Brookshaw
Ford Dealers. I was trained to be the automatic transmission
specialist, which lead to me gaining a vast knowledge in
Ford vehicles.
